Story 3
*Dan and Sherry were both addicted to alcohol, and because they were no longer
able to supervise and keep their children safe, they lost custody of them.
They desperately wanted to be reunited with their children, and at the request of the
local Children and Youth Services agency, they became involved with the Bradford
Family Center, while they also participated in alcohol treatment services at the hospital.
Through Family Center services, Dan and Sherry learned basic parenting practices
like how to supervise, discipline, care and nurture their children. Today, they have been
sober for many months and were recently reunited with their children.
